Toddler Phrase Rewriter

Rewrite a tense toddler moment through the How-to-Talk approaches.

How it works

Grounded generation. A parent types the moment (or the line they're about to say); the service returns 3–5 rewrites, each using a distinct How-to-Talk approach (acknowledge the feeling, describe the problem, offer a choice, get playful, act don't nag) + a 'good job' → process-praise swap (NurtureShock), grounded in the toddler corpus. Concrete lines to actually say, not theory. For The Family Almanac.

You bring

{ situation, child_age_years?, cluster?, model? }

You get

{ situation, rewrites[] (approach·say·why), praise_swap, principle, grounded_in, provenance }

Use it for

  • 'Put your shoes on, we're late!' → acknowledge-feeling / describe-problem / offer-a-choice / playful versions
  • Turn a 'good job' into specific process praise for the effort the child actually made
